The Scrap Exchange is a nonprofit creative reuse center located in Durham, North Carolina. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_reuse)

We do not recycle the items listed, rather we provide them for reuse (remember 1: Reduce 2: REUSE then 3: Recycle)

Our mission is to promote creativity, environmental awareness, and community through reuse.

Since 1991, we have been collecting industrial discards and distributing these reclaimed materials through our retail store, community events, parties and workshops.

We are located at 548 Foster Street in lovely downtown Durham North Carolina.

To see what items we accept refer to http://www.scrapexchange.org/donate/materials.htm. For ANY large donation please call first, we have limited warehouse space. You can call us during business hours: M-F, 11-5 (6 on Thursdays), 10-5 on Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday or email collections@scrapexchange.org.
